Marin Cake Studio is a commission-based dessert studio. We design and create a limited number of wedding cakes each season, allowing each piece to be carefully considered from first sketch to final detail.
This is not a traditional bakery. Every creation is designed for a specific moment and made as a one-of-one work. Because of that, availability is determined by studio capacity and your event date.

Reserved exclusively for couples who attended today’s event.
As a bridal show guest, your consultation is upgraded to an expanded tasting experience featuring eight curated cake and filling pairings in total. Two of the eight pairings are premium flavor combinations not included in our standard consultation tasting.
Each tasting is thoughtfully prepared in advance to reflect our range, craftsmanship, and seasonal inspirations. Because every cake we create is custom, selections are preset and intentionally designed to showcase our work.
All Consultations are $50 and are reserved for two guests. The consultation fee is applied toward wedding cakes over $500.

Delivery is available for a fee to venues in Marin, Napa, Sonoma, and San Francisco. Pickup from our San Rafael studio is also available if preferred. Share your reception location with us and we’ll provide delivery details and pricing.
Q: How much wedding cake do I need for 80-100 guests?
A: A three- to four-tier cake usually serves around 80-100 people. We’ll recommend the right size based on your guest count, whether you’re serving other desserts, and how large you want the slices to be.

A: Yes, we offer tastings by request. You can try our most popular flavors and discuss your ideas during a consultation.
